|Home of the Brave engages company and partner employees in thanking those we owe for our freedom through volunteer activities, patient visits, and donations of Honor Packs, blankets and boots to homeless veterans and those in need. Donations are tax deductible through Boot Campaign, our non-profit partner whose mission is Reboot – helping veterans with PTSD and TBI understand the medication they are taking, how is affects their specific chemical make-up so they can make better choices and adds physical training and dietary plans to help them heal. DXC partners include Bristol-Myers Squibb, Halo Branded Solutions, Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, and Micro Focus along with VA Voluntary Service and VA Homeless Program.
One who served, protected us and fought for our freedom could find themselves among the estimated 40,000 homeless veterans on the street any given night in America. Take the first step – make a difference – be a volunteer, donate an Honor Pack, blanket or pair of boots to a Veteran.
As Elmer Davis once said, “This nation will remain the land of the free only so long as it is the home of the brave.” Join us in thanking Veterans this November.
